“Sleep should be commodified, if at all possible.” I’ve had this conversation whilst on a drive down south last year. To date, I maintain that sleep, vis-a-vis Justin Timberlake’s notion of time in In Time, would make a great commodity, if possible. Because sometimes, 24 hours just isn’t enough to factor in sleep at all.

Multiple deadline weeks are manageable, made very much less so when coupled with trial prep week. And then there’s the aforementioned combination occurring with the coincidence of flu, fever and coughs. It’s times like these that a career flipping burgers or barista-ing is all too enviable an alternative.
